Main explanation
As a School of Specialisation, we continue to offer strong technical subjects while developing additional opportunities for learners. The goal is for learners to leave school with more than a matric certificate: they should also gain practical skills, industry exposure and stronger pathways into further study or employment.
The school aims to work with industry partners to support learner training and improve technical facilities. These partnerships will help prepare learners for the world beyond school.
Bilingual School of Specialisation
We are proud to be a bilingual Afrikaans-and-English School of Specialisation. Learners can receive instruction in Afrikaans or English while benefiting from a future-focused curriculum that prepares them for the world of work and further study.
Focus areas
The school places strong emphasis on technical and future-ready learning areas, including robotics and coding, 3D printing and design, and mechanical, electrical and civil technology specialisations. These areas help learners develop practical skills alongside academic knowledge.
Multi-certification programme
Learners may have opportunities to earn additional accredited skills during their school journey. Planned areas may include robotics and drone operation, driving licence training and technical certifications in specialised fields. More options may be added over time.
Career pathways
The school aims to connect learning directly to life after school. Learners may benefit from internships, learnerships, bursaries, workplace exposure, industry mentorship and alumni tracking where these opportunities are confirmed through partners.
Community programmes
The School of Specialisation model may also support parents and community members through future training and certification opportunities after school, on weekends or during holidays.
